WASET is a known scam website dressed up as a serious academic organisation claiming to be linked to thousands of serious academic research establishments.
The website owners organise mirror international conferences in almost every subject matter one could think of and in many locations around the world.
The WASET scam represents huge problems for genuine conference organisers across the world. Thousands of genuine organisation’s websites and conferences are being hijacked by WASET causing conference organisers massive embarrassment and huge financial loses.
The most common complaint by genuine conference organisers against WASET is in relation to theft of intellectual property - logos, copyright material, website contents, goodwill and so on.
It is possible to remove WASET web pages from the internet if they breach your organisation’s intellectual property rights by obtaining a single court judgement against it which is then used to have relevant web pages de-listed from Google Search, Bing Search and from other search engines.
